‘Prying’ is a video installation that features two images of interior doors, projected at opposite ends of the exhibition space. The images are presented on a human scale and are masked so that they occupy the dimensions of actual doorways. The doors open and close intermittently and the creaks and slams that they generate create the only audio for the piece.
